Requesting A Fence

Version: 2.0 | Created: 4.10.2009 | Last Updated: 9.21.2021

Mantua township has deregulated the laws/rules for fences. This makes it easier on the residents to put up fences, however due to this being a town-home community with common grounds, residents need to check in with the board to ensure their fence isn’t encroaching on common land or a neighbor’s property. We have documented what needs to happen in simple steps.

1. Please find your land survey (this should have been provided when you made closing) and determine where your property line ends. If you don’t have your survey anymore, you can get it pretty easily at the Mantua Township Construction Office. You should call 856.468.9050 and let them know you are coming and they will be able to pull the last survey on record.

2. Determine where you want to put your fence and document it (width, height, material, placement)

3. Send the board an email (timbercrestadmin@gmail.com) with that information.

4. The board will schedule time to come out and check the lines, placement plan and sign off on the fence. Once approved, the HOA will send approval and survey with the fence plan to the township so a permit can be obtained.
